The process of blocking email from blacklisted domain names is nothing new at Huxley Communications. With our third party administrative capabilities, we are able to verify incoming email against a variety of third party blacklist providers. These providers specialize in maintaining up to date, accurate databases of mail servers that allow SPAM. When someone attempts to mail from a domain that is listed in two or more of the provider databases, our mail server will reply to the sender indicating that their domain has been blacklisted. The blocked sender can reply to the initial blacklist message to get contact information. The text of that email will refer the offending mail server administrator to our various blacklist providers for more information. These providers are listed on the table to right. Since we do not maintain any of these third party blacklists, we do not have the authority to remove an offending domain from the database. Thus, it is imperative that administrator contact the referring provider. |
